K. Ashlee bewley, ma, bcba - FOUNDER

Ashlee is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and the founder of Waves Behavioral Solutions. She first learned of ABA after her child was diagnosed on the autism spectrum and was referred for services. Due to a lack of provider availability and insurance coverage for therapy she found how difficult it was to access services. Once discovering the potential benefits ABA could have for her family she started attending classes to learn more herself and eventually obtained her Master’s degree from the University of South Florida (USF) in Applied Behavior Analysis with a graduate certificate in Positive Behavior Supports. Prior to receiving her Master’s degree she obtained her Bachelors of Science degree from USF in Behavioral Healthcare with a minor in Psychology and a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. Her passion is in naturalistic teaching and incorporating play into her sessions as much as possible, while creating contextually fit programs that work for the individual and all caregivers in each different setting they access routinely. She firmly believes that if programs are feasible for the parents and teachers and anyone else involved that you will then see the child succeed and reach their greatest potential.
